Hey Margaret
My husband and I are in awe of the time that you gave us yesterday despite the crazy day you had yesterday.  I am eternally grateful to you for you giving us the dog last night.  It would have been a disaster to go home yesterday and have to come back today to pick up the dog.

I would like to tell you that the puppy's (Zoe's) behavior last night was magnificent.   I introduced her to Kya and both Kya and Zoe sat on my lab all the way to Brooklyn. Last night they both slept in Kya's crate.  Of course Kya was a bit territorial at first but then she was ok. She did not cozy up to Zoe though, she slept in one corner of the crate and Zoe in the other side.  Zoe did not cry at all.  She was beautiful. We all had a beautiful nights sleep.

Thanks you for bring so much joy  to our house.  I will certainly recommend you to anyone that I know of that would like a rat terrier.

Hello Young Lady,

Credit to YOU !!!

Coogee loves females; I ALWAYS say his breeder 'was' a wonderful lady and he never forgot it (true). Up here in Saratoga he is THE show.
He is NEVER on a leash. Follows right w/ me in Lowes and Home Depot where thyye know him well -- and love him. (true)
He goes to the P.O. w/ me, to Bank, to the Motor Veh Dept. Gets out while I pumpt gas -- he is SOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo smart !!! Perfectly trained.....,
I spend 90% of the time saying "such a good boy" ... "It's ok, go get 'em" (his cue to roam)
"OK, I'm goin', I'm leaving" (the cue to come NOW).
"WAIT" -- and he always does.
"NO!" means just that ( and I use that word maybe once a week -- and my voice, face, and atrtitude changes drastically ). He knows.
He weighs 27 lbs, is all muscle, never yaps and absolutely watches everyone re threat (fr my wheelchair days, I think).
...and no one comes into my home w/o his sayso (he looks at me for the cues). What a scream.
The ONLY time the trainign cracks if if he sees a squirrel or cat.
Female dogs (he is fixed) he loves and they beat himk up all the time (good sense of the word). He is insane over snow and
LOVES the water
Truly-- and few disagreee who know Coogee -- he is the perfect dog for anyone who truly wants rehab exercise. But I do not think ratters r inside dogs. They need action, exercise, and the stimulation their smart brain requires. ...and on and on...
Will contact u later on ... I hope to come visit when Coogee learns to enjoy riding on my motorcycle trike. Training starts in about a month.

Hi Margaret,

Just wanted to let you know that "Cooper" is settling in nicely.  He went right to sleep in his kennel the first night, sleeping all night without a peep. He is doing very well with his housetraining, and loves playing out in the yard with the kids.  They adore him, and are providing him with lots of exercise. He is the most popular "kid" in the neighborhood right now. Gypsy pretends
not to care, but runs over as soon as he cries.  If he asleep in his crate she'll go in and sleep in the same room. We think she'll be fine in a week or two.

Thank you again for everything.  He is a wonderful puppy! We'll send you a picture as soon as we get one, along with the registration.

Hi Margaret,

It's been three days and just wanted to let you know that we are just crazy in love with our "Max Czabaj".  He is the best little puppy!  Since the first night he's slept in his crate without any sound from him.  He's having the greatest time...exploring the back yard, visiting family, playing, playing and playing...he loves to run.  He's made friends with the three cats and they have been very patient with his playfulness.  He's fallen asleep on the couch with the biggest one twice already.  He's only had three
accidents in the house and he does a pretty good job of walking on a leash.  And he's been very good at coming when we call him.  So, I'd have to say we are one big happy family!  Thanks!!

Hey Margaret,  Just wanted you to know that "Zoe"  AKA Magic and Nelix's pup from 11/18/02  is doing great she already weighs about 10lbs and is 5 months old.  She has learned sit, down and stay very well.  As much as she loves her crate, I'm sure she would prefer to sleep under our covers.  She's not completely potty trained but once she is, I will convince my husband to let her sleep with us. She is supposed to be getting spayed the end of next month, but friends are saying that they want one of her puppies, I don't know what to do.  I will send you pictures soon. ( I don't know how to do it and my husband isn't home).  Take care,
