We believe that good genetics are only the beginning.  Our dogs are extensively socialized.  They each receive daily handling and individual attention from the day of their birth.  They are born in and stay in our home until 6 weeks of age, when they are allowed to romp and carry on in our large fenced backyard. They stay in a puppy playpen in our home and interact with many adults, lots and lots of children, other dogs and animals (we also own a whippet, a Labrador retreiver and 20 odd birds).  Our dogs are all carefully crate trained in their playpen.

     All of our dogs are registered with the NRTA and with UKCI. Their tails are docked, they are wormed, and have puppy shots up to date.  All of our dogs come with a health guarantee endorsed by the NRTR, a puppy packet of information on puppy and rat terrier care, a written record of their shots and worming, a starter supply of their puppy food, and a puppy picture.

     We feel very strongly agree with and abide by the code of ethics as set forth by the NRTA.  We feel that if you are lucky enough  to love and be loved by a rat terrier for 15 years then it is our obligation to give you the best dog humanly possible.
