Chat rooms are a place to share your experiences
and by talking with others you will gain invaluable information.
(Important: When you first visit the Chat Room your
password will be the same as your nickname. If you wish you can change
your password to a private one from within the program. Note: Your nickname
is private and can not be changed.) Enter your nickname and password
using lower case.
You must use your password to gain entrance
into the chat room lobby, once inside you will be able to access the room.

here for a diagram of the Chat Room Screen. There are menus available
to guide you. Upon your arrival into the chat room a join sound is made
to let others know that you are there. Your nickname will also appear next
to the chat screen. You can now join in on the conversation, ask a question
or just sit and listen. There are many options in the chat rooms such as
sending sounds, color text, graphics or initiating a private conversation
with someone. You can email any member right from the chat room or leave
them a message.
The rules are simple, have respect and courtesy
for others in the room. Try and keep a focus on the subject, it is easy
to get lost.
The Chat Room will be strictly monitored
to assure that considerate conduct is being followed and any type of
harassment or negative behavior will warrant immediate banishment
and/or permanent removal from the room.
