SALES AGREEMENT AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

This dog is guaranteed to be in good health, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of this sale and has had inoculations against distemper and hepatitis. The customer has a health guarantee extending to the close of business on___________________________ in which to have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian for confirmation of the health of the animal and the customer is urged to do so. If the veterinarian finds anything seriously wrong with the dog, said animal will be exchanged for another dog of equal value when available, provided a letter from the examining veterinarian is offered as evidence of the dog's illness and the dog is returned within the guarantee period and pursuant to the terms and conditions contained herein. General health does not include parasites and worms.

The seller assumes no responsibility for the dog after leaving sellers premises including, but not limited to medical expenses, temperament, mortality, landlord's approval, allergy to animals to customer or customers family, disagreements of family or for any other reason.

It is further understood and agreed that no warranties or representation of any nature or sort have been made with respect to the sold animal, except as to those contained in this agreement.

REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE
I/we have examined this dog and found it to be sound and healthy and am totally pleased and satisfied with it. I/we also accept and will adhere to the recommendation to feed the dog quality name brand dog food and vitamins all of its life as well as keeping the inoculations and worming current. I/we will adhere to the advice given on training the pup so that it will develop with a typical good nature and not the "spoiled" nature of an untrained dog.

I/we have been advised to refrain from raising the dog on slippery surfaces, allowing free-run of stairs and jumping. I/we understand that these factors can lead to negative conditions at an early age before bone growth is completed at adulthood and will make the guarantee null and void.

ONE YEAR GUARANTEE AGAINST Patellar Luxation.
This is the only reported genetic problem with the breed Rat Terrier. If this does occur, stipulation of this guarantee requires, that the dog be seen by a licensed veterinarian evaluated and documented of the exact condition and outcome of the dog. Seller must receive this written statement from the veterinarian along with the original signed guarantee and registration paper before the buyer receives a replacement puppy of equal or better quality. Seller has the right to get a second opinion to verify the condition of the dog. This guarantee applies to this dog purchased and is not transferable.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE RESPONSIBLE TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE TO CUSTOMER AND THE EXTENT OF SELLER'S LIABILITY SHALL BE TO REPLACE THE ANIMAL IN QUESTION.  NO REPLACEMENT WILL BE GIVEN IF THE DOG HAS BEEN SPAYED OR NEUTERED. OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MEDICAL AND TRANSPORTATION COSTS.
